Barcel USA was looking to launch their new brand WATZ. This new product was geared towards kids that also enjoy the brand's flagship snack Takis. The idea of eccentric cartoon characters that bring excitement and high energy to the brand was pitched. These WATZ Doodles (Woodles) would interact with the real world, combining live action with 2D graphics. (Illustrations by Carlos Tourne) As a product that was directly competing with Cheetos within the 8 to 13 age range target market, the creative needed to be fun and interactive. Not only did we design an experiential activation for the brand but we also collaborated with Warner Brothers to create co-promotional content for WATZ & SHAZAM. Illustrations by Carlos Tourne.
